Endo Activator sonic flushing
The vibration frequency of EndoActivator sonic irrigation equipment is low, can not produce cavitation effect, sound flow effect is weak, can not activate irrigation fluid, and apical overflow is less than ultrasonic irrigation. Different scholars have different results on the efficiency of removing calcium hydroxide in the root canal. Most scholars believe that Endo Activator's ability to remove calcium hydroxide in the root canal is better than that of syringe irrigation, and there is no significant difference from the ability of ultrasonic irrigation; while Topquoglu et al. believe that the efficiency of ultrasonic irrigation to remove calcium hydroxide is significantly better than EndoActivator's sound wave. There is no significant difference in the removal efficiency of Endo Activator sonic flushing and syringe flushing, Endovac system, and root canal brush. The efficiency of Endo Activator sonic flushing system for removing calcium hydroxide in the root canal remains to be further studied.
